Fr. K.V. George Memorial Inter-school Football Tournament 2013
The Tournament is organized in memory of (late) Rev. Fr. K.V. George, former principal of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School who was a pioneer in promoting sports in our school.This year the tournament was held from 29th April – 06th May 2013. The sixteen participating schools were divided into the under 16 and under 13 category.
The matches were played on a knock-out basis and in accordance with the AIFF rules. In the under 13 category, the finalists were H. Elias Higher Secondary School and Divine Saviour Higher Secondary School. H. Elias School won the match by 1 goal.
The finalists of the under 16 category were St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School and Don Bosco School, Smit, in which the host team won by a solidarity Goal.
